Hi my issue ia related to the following,
usually when there is a new and unread thread/topic or reply to it the linked title in the forum main front end is bolded/highlighted. The purpose of that is to know which threads are new or with new replies. That way the user will go and read it. Right now i have that problem with my forum and when users post new thread or reply i see them as readed by me and can't see what is new.

it seems there is a cache issue. Please delete all caches and press CTRL+F5(twice) on the frontend and check again.
Also, I'll suggest you check the "Jump to the First Unread Post" option. This function is directly added in topic links by default. All topic links on forum home page, on forums list and topics list are already enabled to refer you to your first unread post. Just make sure you're logged in.
Another way to let people see unread posts is showing [new] indicator next to topic titles. This [new] indicator can be a link to the first unread post or a simple indicator. It depends on the corresponding options in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page.
