I have wpForo set to automatically synchronize the user roles.
It was working up until now, but recently stopped working, and user roles are no longer sync'd at all.
I've tried clearing the user cache, clearing all caches, changing the roles multiple times, toggling sync on an offer, restarting PHP, clearing the site cache. All to no avail.
We have the same issue across multiple sites.
I believe this is caused by the wpForo 2.3.1 update.
I notice that the changelog says you fixed synchronization issues, but I think whatever code was changed introduced the sync issues we're experiencing.
Can you please take a look?

@robert Thanks, this change seems to have resolved the issue. I'm able to switch roles and the usergroup will automatically change.
I assume the change will also apply to syncing roles?
Will this change be released in the official version of wpForo? (So I can update to fix production sites too)
