Hi,

I love the plugin, though I'm experiencing an issue:

Whenever a user visits the forum, the css doesn't seem to work. After refreshing the page, the layout works fine.

Any idea what is going on and how to resolve this?

Kind regards.

@jms,

It seems you're using some cache plugin on your website. If so please explain the wpForo pages from the plugin settings. More info here: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/

Hi,

thnx for your reply.

I checked the link you suggested.

I am using a cache-plugin; W3 Total Cache

I started out with trying to exclude the directory as described here:
https://github.com/W3EDGE/w3-total-cache/wiki/FAQ:-Usage#which-textareas-for-file-entries-support-regular-expressions

This did not work, so I tried de-activating the plugin, this didn't seem to work either.

Even after deleting the plugin, the issue remains.

Any other suggestions I could give a go?

Regards,

JM

@jms,

Have you excluded the forum page from your cache plugin?

Please leave a URL to your forum page, so I can check if the cache is totally disabled for the forum page.

Sorry for the late reply.

Here is the url:

Check on your mobile: this way you can immediately see the issue (though it happens on desktop as well).

And after a refresh it all seems to be working right.

regards,

JM

@jms,

Two things:

1. I didn't see any problem, because this is a cache problem, I don't have any cached version of your website. It loads the correct one at once.

2. You're using W3 Total Cache plugin and the forum page should be excluded from this problem-full plugin as soon as possible. Please read this topic, you'll find the instruction: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/
