I was very excited to see the following thread https://wpforo.com/community/postid/69515/ up until the last part where I wasn't able to figure out what it means to
insert a custom menu (Title / URL).
I am super new to this, and I'm grateful for all the help as we wait for the 2.0 documentation to finish!

The second board is accessible by URL, it is generated based on the board slug you've inserted in the second board settings. So you can find your second board URL in the top black admin bar and in wpForo > Boards admin page.
If you want to add the second board menu in your main menu area, you should use "Custom Link" type of menu and use Title and URL of your second board:
