I might be asking a silly question here, but with the Admin Note feature, is there any way to post different Admin Messages under different categories rather than just one global message?

Hi Mark, @markransome .  No such thing as a silly question.  🙂  (Maybe a newbie question?  🙂 ) 

I think the Admin Note feature (which can be found at Forum Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Misc) is "site-wide".  (We can use it in our forum for "Under Construction Announcement, etc." or leave it blank, if there's no sitewide major announcement).

So the answer is "No" to "being able to post different Admin Messages under different categories" IN THE "Forum Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Misc"

But if you are needing different "Messages" under the different "Categories" (the blue bar) - from what I've learned here, the "Enter Description" part, does not display.

But you can post different Admin Messages on the "Forums" (under the blue bar).  So you can add your description, or your own "Messages" per Forum, in the "Enter description here" box.

 CrisW is right. In this case, the best solution is using the forum description feature.

Thanks for your feedback, I thought this was the case,

Although it would be nice to be able to add multiple notifications to/under the blue categories, or have the option to be able to display the description in the blue categories, this is maybe something to think about in a future update?
