I have an idea for a better "recent posts".
Actually, the widget lists the last answers, whatever the topic.
But if a topic is very busy, it leaves out the other topics.
Excluding the "recent topics" widget lists the latest topics, but not those with a recent answer.
Is it possible to display in the "recent posts", only the last answer on each topic?
You can see an exemple with the printscreen.
In last 12 recents posts, only 2 differents topics... So the others topics isn't see by members.
This occurred to me the other day also. Perhaps there should be both a recent posts page and recent topics page? Or the option to set which one you want.

In the widget forum statistics, there is a link for a page "the recent posts".
But it's the same of the widget "recent posts", if a topic have 15 answers, we see only this topic in the page recent posts, or in the widget recent posts.
I prefer an option for see only the last answer in the topic, for 15 differents topics...

The Recent Posts Page will not be changed like this, but we may consider to do this change for Recent Posts widget.

I see that the link /forum/recent/ is good. We can see only one post by topic. But, it's possible to show the forum category in other side ? and put the time of last answer.
For exemple :
An avatar of the topic. It's a picture who when we create the topic, we can choose it.
Less space betwin the topic for more topic show.
Another colour after each topic for a better view
The forum category go under the topic name
The author for the last answer on the right, with the time lapse.
