A back slash appears before an apostrophe on every message that is emailed - it looks like this:
"You didn\'t hear about this here"
Any way to stop this?

It seems that in words like those are inserting a \ between the two words (before the apostrophe).

Which message exactly, email message or post message? Please specify an exact email. We just checked and all email sender functions strip slashes before sending it. This is something impossible:

It is not impossible because it is happening. But you seem to get this wrong. There are NO slashes in the original post. Slashes are inserted by your plugin somewhere.
