Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎄
Good morning,
I'm running wordpress in a sub-directory and when I updated to 1.0.0 I couldn't even see the forums. Now that I've converted to 1.0.1 I can see the front page of the forum and topics however I can't access the actual content. Each time I hit a link it takes me to my front page of Wordpress.
I did the SQL update you mentioned and it doesn't seem to have made a difference.
Please check the page slug and forum base URL. Make sure those are the same.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. The forum slug is mysite/community however the wpforo settings always goes to mysite/wordpress/community. The mysite/wordpress part is greyed out so I can't change it.
Any thoughts?
Where is installed your WordPress? Is it located in /wordpress/ subDirectory? If it isn't. have you migrated from /wordpress/ subDirectory to root? Something is wrong with WP/wpForo data, it seems the current database has been moved or WordPress URL is incorrect. If WordPress is installed in /wordpress/ subDirectory the Home URL and the site URL should be mysite.com/wordpress/. Make sure it's correct. Also make sure you use permalinks in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks admin page. wpForo doesn't work with default ?p=1 URL structure.
yes it is,
sooo:
Site URL is MySite.org
Wordpress URL is MySite.Org/Wordpress
Forum URL is MySite.Org/Wordpress/community (underlined the bits I can't change)
My Forum URLS (from things like last post and my forum page) go to mysite.org/Wordpress/community/stuff
My permalinks are on postname
my page for my forums has [wpforo]
permalink is mysite.org/community
