Hi @jeffgruhler

You can also review the documentation below:

https://wpforo.com/docs/root/getting-started/

When I started, I read the steps provided in the wpForo Documentation and it was / is, the best help there is, because it also contains screenshots to guide us along the way of our learning process.

For Topics, here's more info:

https://wpforo.com/docs/root/topics-posts/

Yup!  There's a learning process, and you can learn it too!  🙂  Good luck and God bless you!

Hi @jeffgruhler,

Please read this FAQ topic to understand how wpForo Usergroup and Forum Accesses work.

https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wordpress-user-roles-wpforo-usergroups-and-forum-accesses/

It seems you've set "No Access" to all usergroups, or the "Can view forum" permission is disabled in all forum access.

@robert The 'no access'---says they have the permissions they are supposed to...the "can view forum,"  where is this permission asked?  I have looked everywhere to check this one.

@jeffgruhler,

The No Access have no any permissions, all permissions are disabled. You should use Read Only access if you want them to view forums, topics and posts but not create topics and posts.

Forum Accesses are located in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forum Accesses Tab. Just edit the No Access and the Read Only Access and check those permissions.

Please see the quick doc here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/wpforo-settings/forum-accesses/
