I want to create a special forum for my paid advertisers. The advertising members would be placed into a secondary usergroup called "Vendors". Vendors would be able to create new topics in the Vendor Forum (as well as replies), but regular members would only be able to reply (not create new topics). The idea is to allow Vendors to post specials or other announcements about their company in this special forum and members could then ask questions about those specials.

Is this possible with wpForo? Thank you!

Hi Wendell,

Yes, it's possible, you just need to uncheck the "Can create topic" permission and make sure the  "Can post reply" permission is checked.

I suggest you Add New Forum Access for this purpose, e.g "Only Reply" and assign it to your special forum in "Forum Permissions” section.
