Hello admin

My name is Jane from Thailand. First of all, I'm sorry if my explanation is difficult to understand. Because my English is not strong

I have installed your Wpforo (forum) plugin. Web content and most users will use Chinese. When the user creates the topic in Chinese, the system will show the message that the topic has been created successfully, but on the display screen Error404, which I think seems to be because the title is in Chinese, so the Url that brings to the screen has a problem.

From such problems, will there be a solution?

Is it possible to use the Topic ID to create a URL to replace using Topic Title and having problems?

I'm sorry but there is no way to use ID based URLs for Topics.

There should not be any issue with topic title even if your topic is in Chinese. You should check your WordPress installation permalinks settings in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks admin page. make sure it's not set the default ?p=1 version. It should be /%postname%/ or something else. Save it and check simple WP posts with Chinese permalinks. If those work then the wpForo should work too.

I have checked And set as you recommend But still found that there was still the same problem And found that when creating the title in Chinese, the screen still shows error404.

Is it possible that the cause of the conversion of Chinese characters into the Slug column?

Hi @jessada-j.

We'll need admin accesses to check the issue. Please send the admin login details to info[at]gvectors.com email address. Also, please make sure the user is the administrator in WordPress as well.
