Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question...

I'll start by saying I never had this problem previously, all worked fine but something changed after my update. Now when I enter the URL for my custom login page and I select 'save settings' it clears the URL, rather than saving it. This is under the settings for login and registration.

For example, I type the login URL: http://example.com/my-custom-login-page/    I select: 'save settings'   when the page refreshes, nothing is there.

If I only type: /my-custom-login-page/   and select 'save settings'  when the page refreshes, /my-custom-login-page/ is there. It is only when I put in the full URL that it clears the space. But it is not redirecting to the page listed.

Before when it was working, I had the whole URL listed. I even tried putting / http://example.com/my-custom-login-page/   in the space, and when the page refreshes the whole URL is there but still it does not redirect to any page. The space with the redirect URL does list the correct page, it is only the login URL space that goes blank.

Could someone help me with this?

Hi,

Please enter the URL without 'https' or 'http,' as shown here: https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/settings/login-registration/#custom-authorization-urls

Make sure to insert the correct URL, clear all caches, and check again.

Hi, thank you for your response. This is one of the options I listed that I have tried.

"If I only type: /my-custom-login-page/   and select 'save settings'  when the page refreshes, /my-custom-login-page/ is there. It is only when I put in the full URL that it clears the space. But it is not redirecting to the page listed."

It seems I have tried everything at this point but upon login there is no redirect. It stays on the same login page and says I am logged in but it does not redirect like it used to. I've even tried redirecting to other pages just to see if anything would work but absolutely no redirection upon login no matter which iteration of the login url I use or the redirect url. Clearing caches for each try.

This was never a problem before, this is something new.

@sofy OMGG I just figured it out. I have multiple user roles on my website and the redirect URL only works for ONE of the user roles!

I'm able to get around this for now since I have restrictions on certain pages but seems like the redirect URL should work for all user roles...

Is there a way to send you this via a private message?
