I have an e-mail box with my hosting provider that I'd like to be the address sending the e-mail registration confirmation e-mails from. I'm guessing sending from wordpress@domain.com is causing e-mails to be sent straight to users spam folder?

Could use a little guidance, not totally sure what I'm doing wrong.

Update:

Installed a plug-in so I can now get the sending address is the correct sender. However, e-mails are still being sent to spam. Is there anyway around this?

When wpForo sends out confirmation e-mails to new users, the e-mail gets sent to spam folder. I figured the issue here was the sending address, so I changed it to an administrator e-mail registered with the hosting domain.

With this change, e-mails have the correct sending address that I want it to have, however, they are still being sent to spam folders.

When wpForo sends out confirmation e-mails

wpForo doesn't send confirmation emails. The emails are sent from WordPress. If it goes to spam, then your server IP is in black list or the domain is not trusted.
