Hi,

I'm getting a javascript error at the top right when I try to register, it says javascript and cookies need to be enabled, but they are...unable to register a test user to make sure it works right. I've tried it in 3 browsers all with javascript and cookies enabled. I also have the two addons enabled.

any help is very much appreciated. I did try turning off the email verification feature to no avail.

This error comes from WordPress, wpForo doesn't have such error. So problem is in WordPress or in other plugins. I'd recommend to deactivate all other plugins, if it doesn't help change theme. This issue can't be fixed from wpForo side.
