Hi,

I am in the process of setting up my community, and I'm not sure if I've done something wrong.

When you go to click on any of the categories/forums nothing happens. For instance, when you click on "Ceremony" under "Wedding Planning", you're taken to this page.  http://www.womangettingmarried.com/community/forums/main-forum/

It was not like that before...I know there are no topics in there, but I used to be able to see into that and see the Add Topic button. I'm not sure what I did or how I fix this? Thank you.

I have the same issue.  I just installed wpforo on an existing WP site and get the same thing.  404's on the category and the forum thread pages.  The main forum page seems to work.

Also, I attempted to change the main forum page to /forum but it didn't work (404) so I changed it back to /community.

  1. Make sure there is a trailing slash in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks admin page ( /%postname%/ )
  2. Try to change wpForo base URL in Dashboard > Forums > Settings admin page.
  3. Make sure you don't have other pages with forum slug (empty post/page trash)
  4. Make sure you don't have more than one page with [wpforo] shortcode (avoid forum page duplication)

Hi! Thanks for getting back to me. So, I tried all those things you outlined and unfortunately they did not work. I am still getting this page whenever I click into one of the categories:

I don't understand why you have /forum/ slug after /community/ ? Could you please remove that? This is the only problem. wpForo forum should have one base slug /community/ or /forum/ . Make sure the forum page is not a child page of other pages. You use wpForo incorrectly, please read the doc:
