I know this topic has been covered and it looks like it is a common problem with many installs. I went through the 5 steps to make sure they were looked at and nothing out of the ordinary. The forum will show up if I check the box to make it the website but then all my website is, is the forum and that not gonna work for anyone.
It seems like a nice forum but so many issues with installation makes me wonder how sound it is. Well written apps should not require an engineer to install them. I am not all that anxious to give c-panel access to someone I don't know. Seems over the edge and beyond to me. I tried other forum installs during my selection process and all worked right out of the box.... no tweeking and endless troubleshooting just to get it to work. Looks like one of them will make the cut instead.
Also, there is a LOT of broken English in your instructions that can change the meaning of the instructions. I recommend you have someone who can speak the language properly check that out and correct the grammar.
Looked like a nice forum... to bad its a royal pain in the a*s to get working! Thanks for making it available free.... but even free is too much if it wont display.
Have a nice day.
Hi darin,
The 5 steps was posted for beta version issues. This is an old information, currently this is not a common problem, and your problem doesn't have relation to that. You've done something very basic wrong in forum configuration. I think you've enabled Turn WordPress to wpForo option. I'd recommend Uninstall (not deactivate) this plugin then delete all forum pages and install it again.
