Try to use the recounting buttons in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page:

@robert I did that but the problem persists, maybe it is a matter of my localhost in a short time I will have my paid host to which I am going to migrate so when I am online, I will see if it is resolved.
I just checked and found out that there is not any bug here. This is designed to work in that way. The parent forum only shows its own topics count, all works correct.
I'll add a new to-do in our list for future to make it count all sub-forums statistic.
