Hi i really need my forum to be german because currently we are trying to get new members + the widget to show latest topics is not working. At least i added "Latest Posts" and "Latest Topics".

For the translation you have to upload the wpforo-de_DE.mo into the wpf-languages folder, not wpforo-de_DE.po
poedit is suitable for translating and automatically generates a .po and .mo file
you can also translate into German by using Quick Translation - Phrases

Yeah i tried that app it wont work without license as it seems
poedit is freeware, only the pro version costs something

@tutrix Okay i somehow fixed it i installed one of the "Available" Language things you can set in wordpress settings and then switched back and now somehow it is german only header / menu is not german but thats not so much work

After investigation it is only translated like 80%
