I am working on a forum for our flight sim hobby site and I have it installed along with Astra Pro theme but the forum just look terrible. I can't get them to stretch the full width like the bar above them.

I want to get into the code and change up the design but as I make changes based on your https://wpforo.com/docs/root/forum-themes/theme-files/ I do not see any of the changes I make reelected in the design ( I am working in the 2022 theme folder). Is this a Astra WPForo incompatibility?

Hi, no need for any code (php) change. Everything can be tuned with CSS changes.

Is it possible to also change the recent posts widget to only show on the forum home page and not in the actual forum category pages? I want the actual category forum to go full width.

Sure, just install

https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-options/

and do whatever you wish. I hope it has that option.

If not, try

https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/widget-context/

and use URL options.

As for full width, i think it is ok as it is. But in any case, that can be tuned within your theme Astra. I don't know the theme but it should be in there (max width or full page something).

I like Widget Context but it looks like it cant choose the just the home page of the forum as it sees the forum as 1 page.
