I set wpforo as home page from Settings>Reading but when I try to navigate to a forum it redirects me to the home page which now is the forum page. I have tried updating permalinks from Settings and creating new forum after changing the home page and nothing works. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi @lefcholevas ,

Please take a look at this documentation and the YouTube video.

Also if you don't want to have duplicate pages because these "example.com" and "example.com/forums" will be the same if you use the same forum you can use a redirect plugin to redirect you from "example.com/forums" to "example.com" or vice versa!

@lefcholevas
If you want to use wpForo as standalone forum,
You can enable the "Turn WordPress to this forum board"  feature.
