It shows the latest post for logged in users, but not for non-login users. A manual Dashboard->Delete all caches fixes the field to show the correct 'latest post' for non-logged in users until of course a new post is posted when again it's no longer accurate.
I confirm this forum too has this problem if compare 'last post' when I am logged in and logged out. A different post for each state is shown in the Forum Statistics -> Latest Post field.
Can a fix be integrated into wpforo please?

This is happening to me also:
Logged users see correct, Guests not correct (only members are correct).
Try to Delete Forum Statistic in forum dashboard page. In mot cases this problem doesn't come back.
That did the job !!
