I want my forum posts to be indexed by google, bt the problem is that only the forum main page is indexed. I think this is due to the seo stuff.

Forum posts and subforums would look like this: https://prnt.sc/w6jn9z
As you can see the meta description is the post content but the title is not changing.

Main Forum URL looks right: https://prnt.sc/w6jnu7

how can i get this to work? sitemaps are indexed in google.

@marcelderadmin,

You've crashed wpForo SEO functions by some SEO plugin and Cache/Optimization plugin. First please exclude the forum page from your cache or optimizer plugin, if that plugin doesn't have "page/url excluding" option then you should disable it. Please read this FAQ topic: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/

Second, all topics and forums SEO data are removed from some plugin, it's probably a SEO plugin, if you use some SEO plugin please disable it temporarily, delete all caches twice and check the issue again.

wpForo has a built-in SEO system with all necessary SEO data in forum pages, you should exclude the SEO plugin from forum pages. The SEO plugins can't work with wpForo. wpForo is not based on custom post types so, your SEO plugin has no chance to work for your forum unless this plugin devs make some special changes to make it compatible with wpForo.

At the Moment only Yoast SEO, All-In-One SEO, The SEO Framework, SEOPress, and Rank Math SEO plugins are compatible with wpForo. These plugins are automatically disabled on wpForo forum pages allowing wpForo SEO functions work without any conflict. So, saying "compatible SEO Plugin" I mean those plugins which don't affect wpForo SEO data and don't insert any meta information in forum pages. If a SEO plugin is not compatible, it makes lots of problems, it understands all forum pages and topics as one forum page with the same title and canonical URLs, so Search Engines will see your forum as a one page. This is exactly your case, so you should find the problem maker plugin.

@martin After some investigations and testing it is the jetpack seo option. Do you know how to exclude forum pages?
