Google search console is now showing me this:

"More than 300 of your forum pages lack structured data for discussion forums. Once this is implemented, Google will be able to identify and display related online discussions from your website in relevant search features."

Here is the suggested url to visit by Google: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/discussion-forum

Please read this support topic: https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/getting-discussionforumposting-structured-data/

The same question is discussed there.

@sofy thank you for the reply but this is, however, rather disappointing information. If Google points this out specifically, you'd think this is a very urgent matter, no?

I've got the same issue. I did check the other thread. It's seven months later. Any update on whether or not you will address this?

Thanks!

Same issue.

Google Search console flagged over 1000 of my forum pages for being slow (I discussed on a another topic but all the implementations the admins told me did not really work. Many users are suffering because of this.)

And now many pages have this lack structured data issue.

Please help

@hbk747 same issue here. My site is super optimized and extremely fast, loads in 1s from UK, but the forum is a bottleneck when posting. It's generally fairly fast to browse, but posting can take ages. My forum is actually even faster for me to post than this forum. I don't get why it's so slow. I've tried other forum software and they've all been much faster.

@danniee Yeah very sad that these issues are present. I am in a similar situation. Its difficult to transition to another forum software as well. Wpforo is amazing but yes I agree if google is flagging down forum posts for slowness and unstructured data then it needs to be addressed. I hope the wpforo management will rise to the occasion.

@hbk747 the worst part is that people tend to gaslight you here when you bring up stuff like this. Happened more times than I can count. It's very strange.

@danniee I wasn't gaslighted but when I made the topic where you also commented about wpforo being slow, two people jumped in so quick and said "its fast for me". I was like ok.... and said its okay guys, our experiences can be different. Was a bit suspect but who knows maybe they're luckier than us. Btw have you tried wpforo's suggestion of changing the tables to InnoDb or whatever? I am guessing it didn't work for you either.

@hbk747 that's exactly what I mean by gaslighting. A perfect example.

Yes, I converted to InnoDb, made zero difference.

@danniee Yes, you are right. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt 😉
