This is a possible future development but does anyone know how I can add Google Translate on a per post basis, as per the screenshots from eToro?
The reason being, applying Google Translate to a whole site isn't effective when there are multiple different languages in play on the same page.

I'm sorry but i don't have any quick solution for this.
We're planning to create a wpForo version of wpDiscuz Translation addon. This will be available next month.
