Hi there,

I'm having a problem with my forum. Guests and registered members can see the main forum view but when they click to see the thread they can't see anything, they just see a blank page.

I have checked the forums permissions and they are all ok. I don't know what's going on...

This is the url of the forum (in Spanish): https://planeta-beisbol.com/

Regards,

Hi @frankpereiro,
You are currently using the wpForo Classic theme, which is old and not supported by our team. Please switch to our new "2022" theme and check if the problem persists or not.

Hi @BlackRaz, thanks for your reply...

I switched to the 2022 theme as you recommended but the problem still persists...

@frankpereiro

Today, we visited your website, and everything works as expected after changing your theme to "2022".

@blackraz Because he changed the permalinks of WP to my suggestion below.

Still something is wrong with the PERMALINKS. SEE:

https://planeta-beisbol.com/foros/postid/52624/

"foros" ?

and

https://planeta-beisbol.com /desde-el-blog-desde-el-blog/un-vistazo-a-las-estadisticas-de-los-lanzadores-hasta-finales-de-mayo/

??

slug issues.

@dimalifragis

He has turned on the option named "Turn WordPress into this forum board," and now wpForo looks like a stand-alone forum. As a result, the URL no longer contains the '/foros/' or '/community/' slug. The home page is now the wpforo page, and all URLs start immediately after the domain name.

Yes, of course, if the above option is turned on.

See the screenshot, the red marks indicate the forum slugs.

This (for example)

https://planeta-beisbol.com/foros/postid/52624/

is a strange and wrong permalink. Go to your Wordpress permalinks and set POSTNAME.

Hi there,

I'm going to give you an update on this.

I had to turn my site (forum) as stand alone because this is the only way visitors and registered members can see the threads.

I changed the URL structure because I thought that using the ID could help me on this issue but didn't work, so I changed it back to normal permalinks.

I don't know how to fix this.

The down side now is that I no longer have a blog and I also can't use the wiki I was working on. I'm fact, I can't include pages or even a simple contact form.

I turned off several plugins but the problem persists.

Regards,
