I am currently using the simplied format for forums. I am not synced with WP user roles.
I have a couple of Forums where I want to allow guests to have the ability to read topics. Right now that is not possible. I do not want guests to be able to comment but just read.
What do I have to do to make that happen?
Dashboard>wpForo>Forums>Forum Permissions in the sidebar. Set as needed for the forums you wish guests to be able to read only.
I have been there 4 or 5 times. I am wondering if another permission that needs to be applied. As soon as a guest clicks on a topic, it gives them the prompt to log in or register. I should also add that I am not currently synced with WP user roles

Check > Dashboard > wpForo > Accesses > Read only access (Guest) > Can's
Example
- Can view topic
- I checked, and read-only is checked as well as can read replies.
- I checked user groups... all look fine
- I checked forum permissions and read-only is applied for guests.
Before I posted what I wrote above, I thought I would check the forum with my Android. My Android shows everything fine, so I know it is a cache problem. Grrr. embarrassing.
I know you explained Cache in another post. I am still confused. How would I specifically clear the cache for this issue?

I am so frustrated and feel like a fool. I just checked my android again, and I was logged in on my Android, so when I logged out, I can see the topics listed, but when I click the topic, it is asking me to Log in or register. The problem is still there.
