Hi @waltsdaughter ,
Are they located in the same WordPress files system? What do you mean saying in point to the old Windows server? If they are not in the same WordPress file system then you should transfer all files to the same base folders of current WordPress.
For example if the files are in this folder of another server:
/forumnew/uploads/monthly_2019_05/
You should download all folders of the /forumnew/uploads/ directory and upload to /wp-content/uploads/wpforo/uploads/
Then run a simple SQL to replace all them:
UPDATE wp_wpforo_posts SET `body` = REPLACE(`body`, 'http://www.6thcorpscombatengineers.com/forumnew/uploads/', 'https://your-new-forum-domain.com/wp-content/uploads/wpforo/uploads/')
Then go to wpForo > Overview admin page, scroll down, find the [Delete All Cache] button and click it.
I did state, "They should be pointing to the new folder at Hostinger "wp-content/uploads/wpforo/uploads/"
Everything moved successfully, including attachtments. However, all the orginal (old) files are hardcoded from mybb and still point there.
I will do as you suggested and run the query. Thanks for your help. Happy New Year.
Robert, unfortunately it didn't work. It got me to thinking, that when I perused the db, I see no tables with the prefix wp_wpforo within my mybbb database that I used to set up my wpForo migration.
Hi: Yes, I was aware I had to change the url to the real one. 😉 Still no luck. As you can see, there is no column named body in either mybb_attachments, nor mybb_posts. Please see screenshot of the db table.
