You can use category shortcodes in the content of your website home page: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/getting-started/forum-page/wpforo-shortcodes/
@robert Maybe the documentation isn't clear or i cannot do it the right way.
if i use say:
[wpforo item="forum" id="2"]
It will display on the main homepage: The forum page menu items, Add Topic box and all the topic of the forum with id=2.
I only want to display posts from the forum category.

Please show me with some screenshot where you insert the shortcdode.
Also, do you have any cache/optimizer/minifier plugin? Can you do a deep purge of all kind of caches?
And, leave a URL to this page.
@robert this is how i posted it in my front page widget area just the same way i do to fetch post from other category to my homepage.

hmm, you're trying to show the category page in a widget? Please stop this, this will not work. The shortode requires a page. This should be used in a page content, this will not work in a widget. wpForo shortcodes generates pages not just a simple content, so they require to be inserted in a page.
