I'm using wpforo on a Learndash website. We will have dedicated forums for Learndash groups and will have other forums separated from the LMS.

Now this means that this forum will be very group heavy with students having more than one usergroup.

If I create a group in Learndash with 10 people, how can I bulk add them to a usergroup WITHOUT messing with another plugin and user roles?

Hi @bigmrc,

You should edit each user separately and change the usergroup of the Forum member in the member profile > Account page.

One by one? Ouch...That's not very friendly...

I have this same issue -- except I have a few hundred LearnDash students I need to add to usergroups. @Sofy is there really no way to do this in bulk?

(BTW, otherwise I'm extremely happy with wpforo so far; I wish I'd transitioned away from bbpress sooner!)

In case anyone else comes across this thread, here's an answer I found from @robert in a different thread:

I'm sorry but wpForo doesn't have option to bulk edit user usergroups. You should do that manually or find some User Role editor plugin then synchronize User Roles with Usergoups.

I think the best way to install some User Role editor plugin which allows bulk edit Users Role. Create new user role for Students A and Students B. Then create and synchronize with forum usergeoups Students A and Students B.

Here are examples of such plugins:  https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/User+Role+Editor/

The feature will be added in the next update.
