Hello. I am new to this. I will build my forum using wpforo. I would like the forum to be accessible to anyone. But if someone wants to post they need to be a paid member. Is that possible?

wpForo doesn't have a paid membership option, but you can use a membership plugin with wpForo. To make that work.

About Paid Membership plugins.
I'd suggest all membership plugins which levels based on User Roles. Because of using Roles, you can synchronize with forum Usergroups and control forum accesses. I don't have examples but I do know that membership plugins use either Member Levels based on User Roles or on Level IDs. The level IDs are plugin specific data and they are hard to synchronize with any plugin.
