I keep forum for the old message, but it's not possible for old user to connect and post message and for new visitor, to create an account.

Then I wouldlike delete the button "Add message" but can't find the option.

How can I do that?

Option to hide/show the [Add topic] button in the category panel

You can additionally set the forum permissions for all to read only
