I have a widget in my sidebar with a custom menu on my home page with "join the community", "already a member? Login" . I am not able to, even with using theย /%wpforo-register%/ URL to get it to work. It takes the user to the community page to login, not the actual login page. Is there a way to make this work?ย

Also, is there a short code for the register page? I had a page previously for "Join the community" where I had some text, and then a link to join. Again, I'd like it to go to the actual register page, not the forum page where then then have to click on "register".

I'd had bbPress prior to this but hated the looks of it and it required too much tech knowledge, of which I have just a smattering, to make it look like anything halfway professional.ย

I should add, I have the registration and login set for forum, not WordPress.

Thank you so much for any help!

@chinese-scientist,

It allowed me to understand how you've added the category links. If you want we can simply remove it from the post content.
