Hello, is there a way to set forum index as home page without disabling WordPress on frontend?

I tried setting it as homepage from settings>>reading>>static page but the forum stopped working. Every link you click will only refresh homepage.

That was wrong configuration. There many place where you can find correct guide for setting forum on home.

Now you should create another forum page with e.g.: /forum/ slug and put [wpforo] shortcode in this page.

That is not a wonderful solution.

When you do that, first your site header (including logo) disappears when you visit a forum or topic or post.

Secondly, /community/ is still included in your URL when you visit a forum or topic or post and this isn't wonderful for SEO.

And lastly when you check the "turn WordPress to wpForo" box, most WordPress plugin doesn't integrate with the plugin which spoils the essence of using WordPress in the first place.

Please find a way to make this plugin work with WordPress while still being used for forum only. Setting it as homepage would have been perfect if not for the first and second problems.

This is your theme issue, something is wrong on your website. wpForo doesn't affect header and logo. Try it on other themes.

Secondly, /community/ is still included in your URL when you visit a forum or topic or post and this isn't wonderful for SEO.

This can't be removed, there is no any forum plugin which can allow you remove base URL, this need to have forum requests.

And lastly when you check the "turn WordPress to wpForo" box, most WordPress plugin doesn't integrate with the plugin which spoils the essence of using WordPress in the first place.

This option is not designed for setting forum on home, this option is designed for turning WordPress to wpForo.
