I'm using the latest version of the forum. I have left everything on default settings. In the default settings under Forum -> Settings -> Forum Access -> Standard Access are at "Can edit own reply" and "Can edit own topic" the two items are activated, you can see the blue dot.
The default usergroup is "Registered", i.e. User Role -> Subscriber. My test user has the User Roler -> subscriber. and is to be seen as a member of the Usergroup "Registered". It is also shown green that it is synchronized. Nevertheless I cannot edit my Reply. I can create Reply, but once it's created, I can't edit it anymore. The thread is also not closed. Only if I activate the value "Can edit reply" under Forum -> Settings -> Forum Access -> Standard Access ->, then I see the Edit button at the post. But I can also modify all other Reply from the other users. That is not the sense of the thing. I tried everything and it still doesn't work. The value "Can edit own topic or reply" is simply completely ignored. I have no idea why. Please for help.
