When logging in,
Forum login screen > wordpress login screen
and the wordpress dashboard is displayed.
If I don't want users to see the wordpress dashboard, what settings should I make?

Hi,
Please check the "Custom Authorization URLs" option and make sure there are empty. More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/settings/login-registration/#custom-authorization-urls
On the same page enable the following options as well:
- Replace Registration Page URL to Forum Registration Page URL
- Replace Login Page URL to Forum Login Page URL
- Replace Reset Password Page URL to Forum Reset Password Page URL

Normal login has improved though,
Password reset > Login from the URL provided in the password reset email.
I am now logged in to the /wp-login****** page.
