I'm having an issue where Administrators can login perfectly fine but if you're subscriber or author, if they go to /forums/ they are logged out. But if they go to /forums/?wpforo=signin they are logged in. Anytime they go back to /forums/ it's as if they are a guest.
What could be causing this issue? It seems to be a cookie issue. I don't know if this is a new bug from the latest upgrade or not.
hmmmm I guess I can just display: none; the wpforo-menu where it shows Register and Login and use Ultimate member plugin for login. It's strange how it's not reflecting when I'm logged in or not but when I go to a topic, it shows I'm logged in.
First please make sure your forum home page is excluded from your cache plugin. This is a cache issue. Your cache plugin doesn't allow to update forum page HTML so you don't see menu changes. Please find a way to exlude forum page from your cache.
Then use "Custom Authorization URLs" option fields to put Ultimate member Login/register/reset-pass page URLs in according fields. This will change all wpForo login/register/reset-pass menus and buttons to UM pages.
This solved the issue! I just excluded forums from my WP Fastest Cache and it works now. You guys are awesome. Thank you so much.
