Please let us know, have you done the change we've asked you above?  It has direct relation in script of wpForo core, please do that change. Or wait for the next 1.5.2 version release. This change is already included in upcoming version. We're releasing very soon.

just wanted to report that I'm having the same error; and what's more, it is still there in v. 1.5.2

It happens every time I try assigning a WP admin-level user to another WpForo usergroup than the default WpForo admin group. Same thing happens everytime: a blank page with "Invalid user id".

It's also strange that I don't see any errors relating to this appearing in the debug.log file  😟

I too have the same problem, i'm using v1.5.2 same result as iraina and russ2204 blank page with the "invalid user id" and also no info from the debug.
