Hi

My challenge is that most of the links in the menu and all of the links in the posts just redirects to the front page so nothing happens. It is this page http://www.801010danmark.dk   The 'log in' and the 'registration' buttons work but nothing else. Where did I mess up? 😀

That sounds like a .htaccess issue? there might be a rewrite rule redirecting to homepage. A fast try to fix this would be replacing your .htaccess with the original from wordpress. (just rename .htaccess to .htaccess_bk in case you have some rules you use)

Make sure you have permalinks enabled in Settings -> Permalinks I use "Post name   http://www.domain.com/sample-post /"

Thanks for your suggestion. Where do I find a clean .htaccess file? I downloaded the wordpress package but it wasn't in there. Then I tried using the .htaccess from another site of mine but when I click on the links I'm taken to a blank page saying "Not found. The reguested ULR was not found on this server". I have also contacted my provider to check that all is ok with the database and they say it works well on their end.

Help is truly appreciated.

This problem comes form incorrect settings and configuration. Please explain why you've enabled the option "Turn WordPress to wpForo" option in Dashboard > Forums > Settings admin page. This option should only be enabled in very single cases. Please uncheck/disable it and if you want to set wpForo on home page you should carefully read this documentation steps, this is the correct way for that:

Thanks Robert.

I was't gonna use the wordpress pages so a stand alone forum sounded fine to me. That is why I ticked it but maybe I misunderstood the function. I have unticked it now but the problem still persists and a dark line with 'Forum' on it has appeard that I don't know to remove.
