Hello, when I update from 1.7.2 to 1.7.4, half of my members disappear. is this problem known?

Hi @daguade,
It seems those members are just inactive members. The new version of wpForo don't show inactive users, Because those are just spam users and had not confirmed registration via email.
Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Members admin page and compare the active members with your issue, make sure that only inactive members are disappeared:
