Hello everybody
I found the following solution for a similar question I have:
Is it possible to assign a moderator to a specific forum? I would prefer if a moderator for one forum couldn't also moderate another forum.
However, this is a 3-year-old solution and somehow it doesn't work:
Create a new moderator user group with Editor user role and default standard access. Name this new moderator group appropriately, eg Moderator-Forum1 to better remember the intended role.
Edit the user profile of the member you wish to have this role to be in the Moderator-Forum1 user group.
Next go to the Forums dashboard and edit the permissions for Forum 1, change the permission for the Moderator-Forum1 user group to "Moderator".
I created 3 Moderator (AModerator, BModerator.CModerator)usernames with the Editor user role and default standard access.
When I tried to sync all user groups I received the following message:
"One User Role cannot be synched with multiple Usergroups!" Please check the attached pic.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you
Hi all.
I solved it by creating 3 additional Editor Roles (Editor A, B, C) with the Editor user roles and Sync works. (I installed The User Role Editor plug-in) in order to create new user roles.
I keep this post in case someone else needs it.
Cheers
