If I move a topic from one forum to another, the old URL is not longer available.

But if I move a WP post to another category, the old URL will be redirected to the new.

I wish the same behavior for topics...

Yeh, it's very easy to say: This is feature, not a bug. At least it's lesser work, than to change it...
