Hi,

I'm still testing our installation and need to solve a couple of problems. When I subscribe I am not classified as Registered but as a Customer (We use Woocommerce ) As these user groups have different permissions (I don't really want Woocommerce buyers to be forum members) this is going to cause problems. Also when someone joins I want to control which page they go to after submitting their form. Can I do that?

Thank You,

David

Hi,

I've solved the last point and redirected to a desired page. I've given customers (who are buyers of gift vouchers on our site) the same access as Registered joiners for the time being.

Hi  Howlinwolf,

Please make sure you don't set the "Customer" usergroup as "New Users Default Group". Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Usergroups admin page check the customer usergroup status.

Hi,

The Customer group WAS set as default by mistake! I've altered that now, thanks a lot for your help.
