Hi, I'm trying to set up a simple "ask a mechanic" forum. I want to make it simple for people to use.
I've enabled guest posting. (By the way, for anyone using WPFastest Cache, be sure to delete that cache in addition to the cache in WPForo. I was pulling my hair out trying to get guest posting to work after changing the permissions)
A few of questions:
1. Is there any way that a link can be sent along with the notification email when a new post is made? Ideally I'd click it, be taken to the forum, read the post, approve it, and reply.
2. Since ours is a simple single forum, is there any way to have the forum without the category? Current the link goes to the "Art's Forum" category, then the user has to click the "Ask A Mechanic" link to see the "Ask a question" button. I'd rather the user land on the page with the ask a question button.
3. I apparently set the text for the "Submit" button to "Ask A Mechanic". Where is that setting located?
Thanks for your time!
Paul

Please navigate to the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page and check the following option "Topic subscription option on post editor".

I'm sorry but no.

All wpForo phrases are located in the Dashboard > Forums > Phrases admin page. Here you can find and edit each phrase then translate to your language. If you can’t find some phrase you can add it using [Add new] button.
IMPORTANT: If you did some change in phrases, please don’t forget to delete phrase cache in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page.
