as you can see in screenshot, the image to the left of screen is the old forum styling (this is what i want)
in the main section and right of page is the style now on v2.  grey part need sto be changed to black, but the colour selections are now limited and i cannot achieve same style...does anyone know the custom css for this?  i am noyt a dev sorry for my lack of skills

You have TWO urls for wpForo

https://livingsystems.health/forum/

and

https://livingsystems.health/community-2/

This is wrong, i tried to post this to your previous topic, it it was closed to replies.

BUT all topics go to "forum" slug

ex:

https://livingsystems.health/forum/introductions/

so the "community-2" page must be removed AND your MENU link Updated.

@dimalifragis i will do that now....the opage that has permalink community-2 is called "forum" other are called "forums" and rather than displaying a permalink, hey say URL SLUG = FORUMS, not "forum"....

...they both have style issue, so look forward to having the solution to that?

Your forum URL is this: https://livingsystems.health/forum/

Please don't use this one anymore: https://livingsystems.health/community-2/

Remove the page in Dashboard  >pages with community-2 slug, make sure you don't delete the main page with /forum/ slug.

You're still using the old classic theme, so your forum doesn't have a future. You should consider switching to the 2022 theme in wpForo > Themes admin page. And you should know that the forum layout can be changed to any of these: https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/categories-and-forums/forum-layouts/

DELETE the page NAMED "community-2". AND CHANGE THE LINK ALSO IN THE MENU TO "FORUM".

@st0nehead_ss Apparently you deleted the WRONG PAGE.

And you do have a community-2 page, it is also IN YOUR MENU.

FORUM (this one has community-2 as hyperlink)

FORUMS (these ones dont show a url hyperlink but do show something to do with a slug entitled "FORUMS"

FORUMS

@st0nehead_ss,

you have changed permalinks to the old ?p=1 mode, why have you do that???

Please change it back to /%postname%/ otherwise the forum will not be available. Permalinks can be changed in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks admin page.

@robert i have not done anything to permalinks.  this morning my forum which was behaving fine was found to be dead due to auto update.  wp-foro admin asked me to email login details, which i did, now the forum is alive again...

no i ask for help with style, and now i am even more confused with all this stuff you mention that i never touched.  im not a dev, i dont understand much of it.
