no worries, I'll get it done. Thanks for the pointers, editing the footer.php will work for me. Actually, I don't even need to worry about update-proofing the process, because my server is maintained by saltstack. So I can have it edit the original footer.php and when it's overwritten, it'll redo the edits off a cron job that's running every couple of minutes. Nothing beats immutable infrastructure 🙂
