I'm very sorry if this is answered elsewhere--I've searched with various terms and not found my precise situation here.

I've created a brand-new forum ( https://folkloresque.net/community/ ) and have some users hoping to join. Unfortunately there are no registration or login links, and no "reply" button viewable to them. The only thing that does appear is an "Add Topic" button in the main forum page, but this doesn't allow them to reply to an existing post.

Is there a way to add "reply" and "login/register" buttons/links in a way that's easily visible? Or do you users have to be already logged in to their existing WordPress accounts?

Hi @jatolbert,

You've changed the active theme and wpForo menu was disconnected to the menu location. Please navigate in Dashboard to Appearance > Menus admin page. Select the wpForo Navigation, then check/enable it for wpForo Menu location.

Also please read wpForo Menu Doc:

Thanks very much for the fast reply! This has worked to add the menu in in Firefox. In Chrome the menu bar is present, but there's no text (see image). This is probably a theme/CSS issue and will require some tinkering on my part--but you've really helped me get started on making it work. I appreciate it!

@jatolbert,

yes, this is a CSS conflict with a theme or active plugins. If you provide your forum URL we'll try to help you to solve the issue.

@sofy That's very kind of you, but I think I just need to choose a new theme. The current one has caused some other issues as well. I'll play around with others and see what I can come up with. (It's already looking like other themes will play better with WPForo anyway!)
