Whenever a user updates his profile picture or the admins update the profile cover image globally, it doesn't update for the users. The old image is somehow still saved in cache. This can stay for weeks until the user deletes the cache in his browser.

I don't have any cache plugin activated.

Can someone help me in this case? Should I maybe activate a cache plugin to solve this?

Thanks in advance.

If the admin changes the cover image, users will need to refresh the page to see the updates. Simply deleting the browser cache after the changes are made should solve it.

Hi @sofy

I know deleting the browser cache will do it. But I can't demand from everybody that they should delete their browser cache regularly.

Would a cache plugin help so this is updated automatically?

Thank you for your help.

Dear @highscoredigital,

The only solution available is to delete the browser cache.

Cache plugins are also unable to resolve this issue.
