I am in need of guidance to improve and avoid Spam in my forum
Every day I am getting new registrations and posts SPAM
I have updated EVERYTHING: Blog, Wpforo, Plugins

Install an anti-spam plugin > https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/spam/
I use Cleantalk, for example
visit my wpForo Community > Tutrix.de
with lots of customization & modification, e.g. hover cards, topic/post preview on mouseover, chatbox and much more...
Spam should be blocked at REGISTRATION/LOGIN level.
Otherwise it is very hard.
Google Captcha 3 is a good start.

@diegopino CleanTalk will make your site slow.
IP based protection doesn't work in 2024.
