Hi. I was wondering what shortcode or php to use if I wanted to add that grey menu bar in my footer.

Excellent forum software btw, I'm looking forward to using it on my community website.

Also, how do I set it so admins need to approve forum membership registration. Thank you!

Hi haywardgb,

I was wondering what shortcode or php to use if I wanted to add that grey menu bar in my footer.

Please read this support topic: https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/how-to-add-a-tab-to-top-menu/#post-209

You can create custom menu and put Custom Menu widget in Footer sidebar. Or you can add Forum Menu items in Footer Menu Location using wpForo shortcode-urls.

Also, how do I set it so admins need to approve forum membership registration.

User registration is being processed through default WordPress registration system. If you already have a registration approval function in WP then it'll work for wpForo to. If you don't have such function please search for Registration activation plugins, they should work for wpForo too. These are two good examples:

  1. https://wordpress.org/plugins/new-user-approve/
  2. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-approve-user/
