What was the solution? I've setup a lot of recaptcha keys but getting the same error

ERROR for site owner: Invalid key type

Google has migrated the old reCaptcha to Google Cloud Console and reCaptcha Enterprise.

I have recaptcha working on the contact form.
https://thebeachcats.com/contact

but it's failing on the wpForo login

@memphisguru, The 'recaptcha invalid key type' error in wpForo typically occurs when the reCAPTCHA keys you entered do not match the version your site is configured to use. You should generate v2 Checkbox keysnot the v3 (invisible). To fix this:

  • Go to the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console and confirm the version of the keys you created (v2 Checkbox).
  • In your wpForo or site settings, select the same reCAPTCHA version as your keys.
  • Clear any site and browser cache and test the login page again.

Matching the key type with the plugin's selected version should resolve the "Invalid key type" error.
